Hood Warfare 2 No Audio: Output Device Check

Follow the developer’s patch 1.0.1.4 audio-output guidance, then isolate device and volume issues without assuming a universal fix.

At a glance

The developer’s audio guidance

Patch 1.0.1.4 reports a no-audio fix and tells players to select an audio output device in the game’s settings.

Check the output path

  1. Confirm that the version in the menu includes the relevant update.
  2. Open the game’s audio settings and select the output device you actually use.
  3. Check Windows output and the application volume mixer for mute or a different device.
  4. Test whether another application can play sound through that device.
  5. Repeat the same in-game action and note whether audio has returned.

Only the in-game output selection is the developer’s documented fix. The Windows checks are editorial troubleshooting suggestions.

If it still fails

A patch note is not a guarantee that every audio problem is resolved. Keep the device name, installed version and reproducible symptom for a support report. Avoid reinstalling drivers or deleting settings before documenting the baseline.

If other players cannot hear you

Game output and microphone input are different paths. Use the voice-chat checklist if the missing sound is your voice rather than game audio.
