What are the Hood Warfare 2 passives?
Tier A. The developer says a loadout is set up with perks and equipment before a match, and treats perks as one slot. It does not list the individual perks or describe their effects.
Tier B. The two beginner guides reviewed on October 23, 2026 name four passives, in wording close enough that they should be read as one corroboration rather than two.
| Passive | Reported effect | When the reports recommend it |
|---|---|---|
| HP | Extra health | When you expect to lose trades up close |
| Speed | Stim-like speed boost | When your route depends on reaching a lane before the other team |
| Utility | Reported as a general-purpose slot | When a specific role on the objective matters more than raw survival |
| Ammo | More ammunition to draw on | Recommended early by both guides, because magazines empty fast and enemy weapons are hard to pick up |
Two limits worth keeping. The reports describe effects in a sentence each and publish no numbers — no health total, no speed increase, no reserve count. And the developer has never described these four by name, so a patch could rename or replace one without changing any official document.

Why is the Ammo passive recommended first?
Tier B. Both guides say ammunition runs out faster than expected, that you cannot reliably take a weapon from a downed enemy, and that Ammo is the fix they recommend for a new player.
The reasoning is consistent with the official material rather than in tension with it: the store describes short, close engagements, and short engagements are decided by how many shots you have rather than by small differences in handling. That is a plausible mechanism, not a measurement.
What would settle it: the same route, the same weapon, two sessions, one passive changed, and a count of how often you ran dry. The planner has a field for exactly that note.

How do you test a passive on your own setup?
- Pick one passive and one repeatable task — a route, a room, or a specific engagement distance.
- Record the weapon, attachments, mode, map and the version shown in the game.
- Play the task, then write what ended the attempt: running dry, losing the trade, arriving late, or something else.
- Change only the passive and repeat the same task.
- Keep the change only if the second record shows a difference you can describe without re-watching the match.
This is a recording method, not a tested ranking. One strong match is not a result; two attempts with the same conditions are the minimum before a note is worth keeping.
What this page does not claim
No passive is ranked. No value is given for health, speed or ammunition, because no source publishes one. The four names come from third-party reports tied to launch-week play, so a current build may offer a different list — the perk slot in your own loadout screen is the record that applies to you.
If the names or effects differ in your version, send the screen and the patch number and the table gets corrected rather than defended.
Quick answer
Four passives are reported: HP, Speed, Utility and Ammo. Both beginner guides recommend Ammo first because magazines empty fast and enemy weapons are hard to pick up; the developer names perks as a category without listing them.
