The update changes how old weapon lists should be read

The developer’s October 17 announcement for patch 1.0.1.8 names two added weapons: Draco and ARP. A launch-week list can still document what its author observed, but its date now matters when answering whether it covers the present game. The announcement is evidence of the developer’s reported addition; it is not this wiki’s independent menu test.

Our conclusion is narrow: an older seven-primary list should no longer be presented as a complete current reference without another check. Adding two names to seven is not enough to prove a nine-weapon current roster. Earlier authors may have counted different categories, and a later build needs its own menu evidence.

Use a timestamped fan guide to locate evidence

HoodWarfare2.org’s gun guide identifies launch-week recordings by Legends6K and Ears and supplies time offsets for its menu reports. That makes it useful as a trail back to the footage. Its reported names and levels should retain their recording dates rather than being silently relabeled as October 17 findings.

The value is the traceable evidence, not a promise that every row remains unchanged. When a recording has a visible menu version, use that version; a video upload date alone does not establish the build being played.

A small verified table can be more useful than a large guessed one

HoodWarfare2Wiki.com’s weapons reference separates progression mechanisms from specific menu observations. It links recordings and describes limits on which conditions were readable. That is a useful editorial model: publish the exact condition the evidence supports, and leave unsupported conditions out.

We have reviewed that page’s sourcing approach. We have not independently rewatched every linked recording, so this article does not promote its unlock conditions into newly verified game facts.

What an updated Draco or ARP entry should show

An updated entry should show the exact in-game name, category, selectable or locked state, displayed requirement and installed version. If an attachment is discussed, record the part’s name and its own challenge rather than substituting an account-level requirement.

For a numerical performance claim, a menu name is insufficient. Record distance, hit location, test conditions and repeated observations before publishing damage or time-to-kill results. This is our suggested verification method, not a claim about how either new weapon performs.

A useful article should help a reader make a check in their own game. Compare your menu with the dated source, preserve the original creator credit and report a mismatch with a capture. A sensational tier-list title cannot substitute for those details.
