## At a glance

The reviewed sequel mode list does not name zombies. Developer zombies announcements belong to the original Hood Warfare; they do not establish that feature in the sequel.

## What the sequel source establishes

The reviewed Hood Warfare 2 store description lists six competitive modes and bot matches; it does not list a zombies mode. That is the scope of the official reference checked here, not a claim about every possible future update.

## Where the zombies reference comes from

The original Hood Warfare developer feed announced Hood Zombies on November 26, 2023 and a prison-map zombies update on August 15, 2024. Those posts belong to Steam app 2274510, not the sequel’s app 5155360.

## What the fan guide helps clarify

The fan guide’s useful distinction is between the original’s zombies content and the sequel’s mode list. We checked the original-game announcement feed before bringing that distinction into this page.

## Before buying for a particular mode

Check the Steam app ID and mode list on the exact product you want.
Look for a developer announcement naming the mode and the game.
Check the current menu if you already own it.
Do not treat a fan illustration, rumor or an original-game patch as a sequel release.
The two-game comparison and official sources help resolve ambiguous search results.

## Bot practice is a separate feature

The sequel’s bot-match feature can help practise competitive objectives. That source does not establish wave survival, zombies enemies or progression shared with the original game.
